Official Statement Regarding COVID-19
Original Church of God, “The Place of Blessing” is committed to the safety and well being of its members and guests. We are concerned and praying for our world as many people are being affected by this global pandemic of Coronavirus (COVID-19) directly or indirectly. As we continue to monitor the news, take recommendations of local and national health care officials and obey governmental regulations, we are taking steps and precautions to ensure the health and safety of all who enter our facilities.
We have reviewed our cleaning and sanitizing procedures of all areas of our building. We have made the necessary steps to increase the frequency of cleaning and sanitizing the entire building. This will include between services or activities and also while events are happening.
We have increased the number of hand sanitizer stations within the church.
We ask that anyone who is sick, has an illness that you believe is contagious or has a low and compromised immune system please stay home.
As we are a loving church, please refrain from hugging and handshakes. Elbow or fist bumps and waving to others are all greetings that still show Gods’ love to others.
Please limit time of fellowship before or after services and events as to not cause large groups or crowds of people within the building.
Worship service and events may be altered in style or form to protect those serving and those being ministered to.
Media Ministry is working to increase or upgrade all areas of media communication. Stay tuned for more details.
We will have all normal Sunday services on March 15, 2020 with Sunday School at 9am and Worship Service at 10.
The Pastor and Church Leaders will continue to monitor the pandemic on a daily and weekly basis. We will make adjustments or cancellations to services, meetings and activities as necessary. Please check the church website regularly and follow on Facebook for updates.
Let us not become fearful of this current situation but trust God and walk by faith. These are times and situations where God is calling us as his Church to be “All In!”
